Frequently Asked Questions
AshWood Candles is a small, independent brand, created and run by me, where everything begins by hand. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches, with scents carefully developed and tested, and labels designed and printed in-house. Nothing is mass-produced, and nothing is created without intention.
The brand is rooted in archaeology. Created from a love of landscapes, objects, and the quiet traces of the past that still shape how we experience the world today. The past isn’t distant; it’s something we move through every day, often without realising.
AshWood Candles is my way of working with that idea differently. Each scent is inspired by real places, histories, and moments—designed to evoke a feeling of somewhere, rather than just something. Each piece is made slowly and thoughtfully, with the aim of bringing a small part of the past into your present.
